Acting on behalf of the Administrators we prepared a valuation opinion of the assets, inventory and extensive intellectual property relating to the provision of a commercial in-flight GSM call and SMS routing and handling system provider. The company had developed an aircraft industry approved system permitting in-flight mobile telephone use, routing via satellite and connection to terrestrial services utilising a ground station and switch.
This required considerable work to assimilate the current and yet to be deployed technology. In addition we appraised the contractual relationships between the business, its key suppliers, customer base and the intellectual property employed within a tight timescale.
