Wyles Hardy & Co. were instructed to locate a number of items of earth moving plant which had been “forgotten”. During the Liquidation process documentation was discovered which suggested twelve items of heavy plant were located at a number of Third Party sites in the South East of England.
The plant was quickly identified at the various sites and we arranged for it to be transported back to our secure holding yard in Bovingdon. Given that the plant had remained idle for a number of years, we were instructed further to bring the plant up to saleable condition, including replacement of tyres, fuel filters, locks and glazing etc.
Marketing of the items then commenced with printed and electronic media distributed to target audiences including Wyles Hardy & Co.’s GDPR compliant customer database. The targeted marketing resulted in a successfully completed timed online auction with the assets realising a respectable six figure sum.
