We comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and only use your name and other data relating to you in the manner set out in our Privacy Policy. We just keep your information for as long as we need to for legal requirements or as is relevant for the purposes for which it was collected.

Collecting your data

We collect the following data about you when you apply to register for eligibility as a buyer at an Auction and whenever you provide updated details to us: your name, address, telephone numbers (including mobile), e-mail addresses, payment card details (where applicable) and type of products that you are interested in buying. We may obtain other information from you for security purposes in order to verify your identity. We also allocate usernames, passwords and paddle numbers for you and issue replacement usernames, passwords and paddle numbers. Further, we may collect and record photographs, moving images and sound involving your participation in any aspect of the Auction.

You must only submit to us information which is accurate and not misleading about yourself and you must keep it up to date or inform us of changes.

Our use of your data

We use the information which you provide to us or which we collect so you can have access to the areas of our Auction service for which you are eligible to use or participate. We also use your data in case we have any queries, for billing, to verify identities, for security, to solve disputes and to provide a quality service.

Furthermore, we may also use your personal data for the purposes of surveys and improving our websites and services.

If you give us your prior consent, we may use your data in order to send you newsletters, publications or information about our websites or our services or changes to them.
