Acting for the Joint Administrators Wyles Hardy & Co. were initially instructed to assist in marketing the business and assets with a view to finding an investor or securing a sale of the business as a whole. Regrettably a suitable solution could not be found and Wyles Hardy & Co. were instructed to sell the significant retail stocks, principally held in a fulfilment house and the flagship Mayfair store.
By exploring a variety of avenues the team were able to successfully place the stock with a number of designer retailers and TV shopping channels, providing a good return to the creditors whilst protecting the influential brand.
