Instructed by the Joint Administrators to value to assets of the UK’s largest independent specialist “Food to Go” manufacturer and supplier with pre-pandemic annual revenues in excess of £226 Million. Adelie Foods Ltd had approximately 2200 employees, and operated five distribution centres and 280 refrigerated vehicles.
Wyles Hardy & Co initially provided valuation advice across the entire asset base via virtual methods due to the Covid-19 pandemic preventing site attendance. When the Administrators were unable to secure a buyer, Wyles Hardy assisted in the disposal and exit strategy, achieving results during the pandemic restrictions, demonstrating the adaptability and agility of the Wyles Hardy team.
